Cover Page

The cover by Eva Banerjee and Vaidehi Rajput is based on an origami model by Stéphane Gigandet, and is designed to evoke two ideas relevant to CJIDS — interdisciplinary triangulation and the possibility of multiple interpretations. Every structure in the tiling is built by the intersection of multiple surfaces, and the various pyramids are ambiguous objects — we may see them in two different ways — with the pyramids pointing towards the viewer or away from the viewer.
